A mother-of-one has shared how after years of fad dieting, changing her approach to food and exercise helped her shed unwanted weight - easily and effortlessly.
Sheree Lowe, of Adelaide, said she had struggled to lose a stubborn three extra kilograms - despite the fact that she had long been a dieter.
Speaking to FEMAIL, Ms Lowe, a People and Culture senior manager and certified health coach, revealed that once she ditched a restrictive mindset, everything changed.
'I have achieved the results I wanted in a gentler way and I have healed my relationship with food,' she said.

Ms Lowe (pictured) revealed she had long battled with her weight and had been a fad dieter for many years
The 33-year-old explained how growing up she was quite overweight and had been on a 'roller-coaster ride with fad diets' her whole life.
'I would go on a diet, lose weight then put on the weight, then lose it again,' she explained.
Ms Lowe said in a bid to help her heal her relationship with food, and drop from 65 kilograms to 63 kilograms, she signed up to an eight-week program created by the Australian nutritionist, Jessica Sepel.
'It [the program] was a really natural and holistic way of looking at health and well being,' she said.

The JSHealth 8-week program includes action plans, recipes, shopping lists, expert advice on creating a healthy relationship with food and forums for support.
'Her program offered a different approach to the normal rigid diet programs that are out there on the market,' she added.
Ms Lowe said before embarking on the program she spent some time mapping out her wellness goals.
Ms Lowe said by following the program's meal guide she learned it was possible to eat in a balanced and healthy way
'I think it's important to have a goal in mind and understand your "why" - I had to work out why I wanted to lose those last three kilos and keep that goal in the front of my mind.'
As well, she said she also researched what forms of exercise would complement her new lifestyle.
'I tried a few different forms [of exercise] and came across Pilates which I did each week alongside regular hot yoga sessions.'
Ms Lowe said that doing this as well as eating 'real whole foods for breakfast, lunch and dinner' helped to turn things around.

She said by following the program's meal guide which included breakfast, lunch, dinner and one snack, she learned it was possible to eat in a balanced and healthy way:
'I stick to a healthy eating approach for 80 per cent of the time and 20 per cent of the time I enjoy treats or a nice dinner out without any guilt.
'This means I am able to have a nice meal out on a Friday night and go back to healthy eating during the week.'

Ms Lowe said above all else she had learned was that consistency was the key ongoing and sustainable change.
'We can sometimes fall off the bandwagon because we think we've been doing well for a while so the approach is to be consistent as possible.
'It's my goal to live a healthy lifestyle most of the time,' she concluded.
